Crazy Times *

Boooooom !! Some say starting posts with such terms makes people get interest to read it , so just kicking off traditionally :: however my blog starts hereafter and its going to be about the week of internal exams we had recently [ wonderin’ what the title has got to do with this ?? u will know as u read on !! ] ::

We had a monthfull of happiness in our may vacations and immediately following these were the exams ! The last week of holidays were like early morning dreams; the moment u wake up, u forget it and so we felt during that Monday night when we were to get back to hostels for begin of classes on Tuesday !!

Classes started on Tuesday and there were rumors and talks all over the place that our exams may be cancelled in view of tamil conference to be held in our city. All these talks reminds of proverb “ tell a lie a thousand times, it becomes a truth ”. Its just for our hearts but our mind clearly knows that our college is always scheduled and will never in our wildest dreams cancel our exams !! So, went a week of our return as such with nothing special about it !!

The week before exams are the most craziest times in your college days ! Everybody around you in hostels will be learning something, telling you what are the important topics to be learnt and what to be left out .

Some persons would have turned Nocturnal that week and will be visiting hostels only at late nights for sleep [the rest of the time you can find them buried deep inside books in library !! ]. Luckily the library operates at fixed times and closes at nights or else these persons may even live there the whole week and just come to attend classes !!

If one thinks that atleast he can have fun in class time if not at hostels, then he is wrong there too ! Classes at that week is still worse, it will be like you are entering into some haunted mansion , there would be many absentees [these people take leave thinking that studying one week would make them them pass on top of all—God knows that doesn’t happen in medicine !! ].

As days to exams are decreased, the number of absentees would increase [a perfect example of explaining the term inversely propotional ! ].The most humorous part is when people taking leave to study asks you for proxies when u are attending classes, [ man, how can a class of 30,give proxies for 80 ??], That too in a class were boys are outnumbered, u feel like shouting out loud “OMG !! Why am I being here like this ?? ”

So goes the week on and on and on and whatever u study new that week is like ether (I mean volatile) !! The next day morning you may even have chance to study it again thinking it as a new topic not yet covered by you [ medicine books are examples to high degree volatility things ;-) ] !! Finally, u cross all these crazy times and suddenly unleashed beasts around you and come into the week of exams !

The week of exams are similar to some high budget movies, much hyped but not upto that level. Its all only about the first day of exams and its tensions like the big opening shows for such movies, it fades on progression and exams as usual will be a cakewalk for a good student who is also obedient and sincere [ you rarely find these combos nowadays, so lets generalize it as for constant preparer]{CATEGORY - A}.

For the rest it will be like eppada mudiyum or two down and two more like situations{CATEGORY - B}. As always in college you will mostly be into CATEGORY - B [me being one in it too ! ] and only few exceptionals into CATEGORY - A.

Nature played its role in our exams too . All of a sudden sun feels shy and hides behind clouds and so it was cloudy and blackish skies all over city in that week .In night times even if you are having the heart of Iron man 2 and determined to study late at nights, all you will end up is waking up at morning to find yourself sheltered inside your blankets [only God knows when you slept and how you slept all night !! ].

And so somehow you manage to cross over the week of theory exams and then comes your practical exams, then your sun feels brave again to light up the skies and though you feel like asking it “where were you at my exam time?? ” and punch the yellow bean, all you get is sweating in the heat ! ;-)

The practical’s are all going around with the entire population of 80, split into 4: there comes an announcement saying 22^nd will be a holiday and practical’s are postponed , then we are ready to get back home and enjoy the weeks holidays with family and friends ! Enjoy home sweet home people ! Always !! :-)
